If law enforcement is allowed to use musicians lyrics as evidence, then the lawyers would argue that the law should also target violent video games and Hollywood, since GTA and movies like Terminator portray violence as well.

Thompson went after Grand Theft Auto, but failed miserably because movies, music and video games are apart of entertainment.

The only thing they [developers, studios, labels] have a responsibility is providing the correct rating system like MA, R rated, PG.

it is not just the lyrics, 50 cent in his own vh1 bio segment said he used the money Columbia studios gave him to buy crack and he sold drugs. g-unit members said 50 cent was packing a gun and lived a gangster life style.

"throughout the whole columbia time i was selling crack"

A lot of rappers don't even do a lot of the stuff they rapped about. They just grew up around it. And even the ones who did sell drugs aren't doing it anymore unless they're still broke mixtape rappers or stupid.

Weed isn't illegal everywhere.

Which country legalized weed?

I know if you have a condition and if you have a prescription, you can smoke a small amount of weed.

Colorado and Washington have legalized weed in the US. It's still against the federal law, so if the feds catch you smoking weed, you can still get in trouble, but local police won't do a damn thing in those states.

It's not illegal to say you've done it in the past. You have to be caught in possession.
I understand, but the police can use what the rapper say as evidence.

"Anything you say or do will use against in the court of a law"

Anything you say is only when the police gave you in custody.
